I have two related questions about the in-silico networks challenge. 1) Are there any external regulatory inputs in these networks, or can we assume that each network is self-contained?
2) What is the nature of the perturbations in the trajectory datasets? The data description says that the 50 gene networks were designed to have the same set of perturbations as in DREAM2. Were those perturbations revealed after DREAM2? From what I can tell, the main difference between trajectories is the initial concentration of all the genes in the network.
Thanks..
