The primary objectives of this statement of work are the following:
- Based on initial caGrid/TeraGrid design, develop requirements for geWorkbench on caGrid to interface with TeraGrid. Specifically:
- Port Hierarchical Clustering to TeraGrid.
- Develop caGrid wrapper layer to be able to expose (and invoke) the TeraGrid hierarchical clustering service as a caGrid service.
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrating geWorkbench on caGrid interfacing with the TeraGrid computational resources. I.e., use the geWorkbench GUI (as is, no change) to invoke the hier clusteting service via its caGrid wrapper.
- Based on proof-of-concept develop generalizable process by which caGrid enabled services will interface with TeraGrid. I.e., provide step-by-step instructions about how to deploy a TeraGrid service and wrap it as a caGrid service.
