To mount your C2B2 network drive on a PC:

My computer>Map Network Drive
Under Drive>Choose any letter

Type in ONE of the following for the server address:

\\isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu\PI_lab\username (this is your home directory)
\\isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu\PI_lab_data\username
\\isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu\PI_lab_scratch\username

"PI" = the initials of your PI (Barry Honig would be bh, Andrea Califano would be ac)

Click on "Connect as Different User" and use

arcs\UNI enter your C2B2 password

Then you will see the mapped Isilon network drive under My Computer.


To mount your C2B2 network drive on a Mac:

Open Finder and select Go -> Connect to server

Type in ONE of the following for the server address:

   smb://isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu/PI_lab/username (this is your home directory)
   smb://isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu/PI_lab_data/username
   smb://isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu/PI_lab_scratch/username

Enter arcs\UNI and password. The Isilon network drive will now appear in the Finder.


To mount your C2B2 network drive on your Linux machine:

On the top menu bar, go to Places - Connect to Server - and type in isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu.

For Service Type, change it to Windows Share.

Server - isilon.c2b2.columbia.edu

Share - PI_lab or PI_lab_data or PI_lab_scratch

Folder - username

User Name - username

Domain Name - ARCS

Check the Add Bookmark and put in a Bookmark name.

It will prompt you for a password and then mount the drive.

In the future, you will be able to connect to the share by going to Places and clicking on the Bookmark.
