    - YES (Epitome)

  • What is the primary purpose of the database & types of data stored?
    • Epitome is a database of all known antigenic residues and the antibodies that interact with them
    • It includes a detailed description of residues involved in the interaction and their sequence/structure environments
    • Interactions can be visualized using an interface into Jmol
    • Each entry in the database describes one interaction between residues on an antigenic protein and residues on an antibody chain
  • Are there any issues or problems with the database?
    • Specific error messages popping up?
    • Problems connecting from the application or web interface?
    • Performance issues (queries are slow, freezes at times, etc)
  • NO
  • Would you like help in administering the database?
  • Yes. It needs to be updated once a year and it is not fully automated yet.
  • What additional features or changes would users like to see?
    • new tables or queries
    • additional screens on application or web interface
    • migrate to different database platform (i.e. MySQL to Oracle)
      • no feedback has been provided by users
