The Rocks Cluster installation on adcluster supports LAM-MPI and MPICH.
The public domain version of MPI, MPICH, is maintained by Argonne National Lab and they provide lots of MPI information and examples on their web site:

Two nice tutorials, "Introduction to MPI" and "Intermediate MPI", are available from WebCT-HPC, the web-based training site for High Performance Computing sponsored by the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).
