Best Practices

  • Please consult with ARCS before purchasing hardware equipment.
  • When purchasing new hardware users should ALWAYS purchase an extended warranty (3 years minimum).
  • If you request ARCS for a new hardware quote, ARCS will always quote any new device with a 3 year extended warranty.
  • Hardware with active warranty If the hardware is in need of repair please send a request to ARCS to make arrangements with the vendor to schedule a date/time to fix the device.
  • Hardware with expired warranty

ARCS does not perform extensive hardware repairs on expired warranty hardware with out written authorization to repair the device from lab PI. The requesting lab is responsible for any parts cost needed to repair the device.
