Overview

geWorkbench (genomics Workbench) is a Java-based open-source platform for integrated genomics. Using a component architecture it allows individually developed plug-ins to be configured into complex bioinformatic applications. Current Release

The latest production version of geWorkbench (v2.5.1) was released on November 1st, 2013.

The release of geWorkbench 2.6.0 is expected about January 16th, 2015.

New web-enabled version available

geWorkbench-Web provides installation-free access to the geWorkbench plug-ins through a pure browser interface. A beta release is available for testing at: http://geworkbench.c2b2.columbia.edu/geworkbench/.
